GP Net Earnings

Summary of GP Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Cropredy Surgery in the last financial year (2017/2018) was £42,873 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 3 doctors (2 partners and 1 salaried) working in the practice for 6 months or more.

Dispensing income and expenditure is excluded from the calculations.
